Governance

JMF6-Abingdon is the joint sixth form of Fitzharrys School and John Mason School, and all are part of the Abingdon Learning Trust. Working in partnership with the Head of Sixth Form and the Headteachers of the two schools, Governors ensure high standards of achievement for the young people in the sixth form.

Who are the Governors?

The Governing body is made up of people who have a common passion for providing the best education for pupils in the schools. Governors from the two secondary schools’ committees are represented on the sixth form committee alongside independent, Trust-appointed governors to ensure a wide breadth of skills, experience and viewpoints to enable the governing body collectively to support and challenge the sixth form leadership.
